Per-User vs Flat Rate Breakeven

At $15/user/mo, teams of 24+ users save money switching to Pro Unlimited at $349/mo. Below 24 users, per-user is cheaper. The breakeven point catches growing teams off guard.

Limited Integrations

Basecamp has fewer native integrations than competitors. Many workflows require Zapier ($29.99+/mo) or custom webhooks to connect with other tools.

No Built-In Time Tracking

Basecamp has no native time tracking. Teams needing timesheets must use third-party tools (Toggl $10/user, Harvest $12/user), adding per-user cost on top.
