Every number here is an estimate

This is the term that matters most. Figures on this site are estimates built from vendors' published prices and the assumptions you enter. They are not quotes, not offers, and not a guarantee of what any vendor will charge you.

Vendors change prices, limits and overage rates without notice, and they can price a specific deal differently from their public page. Confirm anything that matters on the vendor's own site before you commit money. The methodology page explains how each estimate is built and where it stops being reliable.

Nothing here is financial, legal, tax or procurement advice. It is a pricing reference.

Affiliate links

Some links to vendors are affiliate links, and the site earns a commission if you sign up through one. They are marked where they appear. Affiliate status does not change any figure on the site and is not an input to any calculation.

Pro subscriptions

• Trial. Pro starts with a 14-day free trial. No card is required to begin it.
• Billing. After the trial, Pro bills at $29 per month or $249 per year, depending on what you chose, and renews automatically until cancelled. Prices are in US dollars.
• Cancelling. Cancel any time, including during the trial. Your Stripe receipt email includes a link to manage the subscription, or email hello@trulycritic.com from the address you subscribed with and it will be cancelled for you. Email is the reliable route — the site has no account area to cancel from.
• After cancelling. Access continues to the end of the period you already paid for. No further charges.
• Refunds. Ask. If you were charged and got nothing useful, say so at the address above.
• Payments.Handled by Stripe. This site never receives or stores your card details. Stripe's own terms govern the payment itself.

Bills, emails and alerts you send

When you submit a bill, you confirm it is yours to share and that it contains no information you are not permitted to send. Uploaded bills are read to check the site's pricing data and are not published. What is stored and how to have it deleted is set out in the privacy policy.

Price alerts are emails about verified price changes. There is no marketing list and no third party sending on the site's behalf — ask and you are removed.

Using the site

Use it for its purpose, and do not try to break it: no scraping that degrades the service for others, no attempts to bypass rate limits, no uploading malware, and no reselling the site as your own. The pricing data is published through a free API — use that instead of scraping the pages.

The site's text, design and compiled pricing data belong to StartupCost.ai. Vendor names and logos belong to their owners and are used to identify the products being compared.

If something here is wrong

The site is provided as it is. No promise is made that it will be available without interruption or that every figure is correct — though correcting figures is the point of the whole exercise, so tell us when one is not. To the extent the law allows, StartupCost.ai is not liable for a decision you make based on an estimate; that is why the estimates are dated and linked to their sources.

Changes, and how to reach us

These terms may change as the site changes; the current version is always this page. Using the site after a change means the new version applies.
